Cockenzie & Port Seton Community Coastal Rowing Club, better known as Boatie Blest, will hold its annual rowing regatta on Saturday.
The event, which takes place at Port Seton Harbour from about 11am to 4.30pm, will see 10 clubs from across Scotland compete.
Guests are invited to come along and cheer on competitors as they take to the water.
Janet Beck, Boatie Blest chair, told the Courier: “We’re really looking forward to this year’s gala, which is a little earlier than last year’s.
“It should be a really good event, with competitors from all over the country taking part.
“We usually have about 100 to 120 competitors involved, so it’s normally a really great event.
“We are just hoping for good weather!
“What’s great about our regatta is that it takes place entirely within the harbour, so it’s a good watch for spectators, who often come along in big numbers to cheer on the competitors.
“We’re really looking forward to another successful event!”
