A ‘SOCIAL media sensation’ and best-selling author will take centre stage at a returning culinary extravaganza next month.
The Gullane Food & Drink Festival, which runs from April 8 to 14, will be headlined by Coinneach MacLeod.
The Hebridean Baker will be creating two bakes using locally sourced ingredients from Brand Family Farm and Mungoswell Farm and signing copies of his new book ‘The Hebridean Baker at Home.’
The event takes place on April 12 in Gullane Village Hall.
Coinneach said: "I am looking forward to bringing a taste of the Hebrides to Gullane.
“It will be a night of island stories, Gaelic songs and traditional recipes and I'm really excited about coming back to East Lothian."
The festival, now in its third year, will see local food and drink businesses using local ingredients and farm and flour mill tours will highlight sustainable, environmentally-friendly food production.
Community groups, pubs and cafes have all joined forces to back the festival.
