A THIEF has been fined for stealing diesel from a county farm.
Alan Hales, 39, was found to be taking a quantity of the fuel from a farm near North Berwick on August 3 last year.
Hales pleaded guilty during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week.
Hales, of Dunbar, was fined £175.
