THE play area at Whitecraig Park is temporarily closed for improvements.
The work is expected to continue throughout March.
A spokesperson for East Lothian Council said: “The works being carried out at Whitecraig Play Area are in response to community requests and helping to fulfil suggestions made by local children.
“This will include a multi-coloured rubber-surfaced path into and through the play area, connecting to the basket swing and toddler multi-play unit.
“In addition to bringing bright colours to the play area as the children requested, the new surfacing will also improve accessibility to these play items for all abilities.”
