A HAUL of drugs and offensive weapons valued at £72,000 have been found at a property in Whitecraig, police say.

Two men have been charged and a 15-year-old reported after the "significant quantity" of drugs were discovered.

On Wednesday, police attended a property as part of an intelligence-led operation in the Whitecraig area; the property was suspected of being involved in the supply of illegal drugs.

Police said that a significant quantity of cannabis was seized from the address, as well as cocaine and offensive weapons. The items recovered are believed to have an estimated potential street value of about £72,000.

Two men, aged 30 and 34, were arrested and charged in connection with the find. Both are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on April 5.

A 15-year-old male youth will also be reported in connection with the discovery.
