A WALLYFORD man has been ordered to pay a fine after he caused a disturbance near to his home last year.
David Stewart, 36, behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and uttering threats of violence and offensive remarks during the incident on the village’s Affleck Rise.
Stewart admitted the offence during an appearance in the dock at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Thursday.
He also had not guilty pleas accepted to assaulting a man by striking him to the head, and possessing a baseball bat and a knife, all on the same date of April 9, 2023.
Sheriff Ian Anderson fined Stewart a total of £380.
