A SEARCH has been launched for two missing teenagers, who may have travelled to Edinburgh.

Police have launched an appeal for help to try to find Ben McDougall and Stuart Munro.

Thirteen-year-old Ben was last seen at about 8.40pm on Sunday in the Gravesend area of Arbroath.

He is described as being about five-foot-six-inches tall, slim, and with short, dark hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a black Nike jacket, black tracksuit and white Nike training shoes.

Fifteen-year-old Stuart was last seen in the Meadowmill area, near Tranent, at about 1.35am on Tuesday.

He is also described as being about five-foot-six inches tall, with a medium build and short brown hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a green tracksuit, black body warmer and an orange hat.

Officers believe the teens are together and enquiries carried out have established the last confirmed sighting of both males was at about 2pm in the Prestonpans area yesterday (Tuesday).

There is a possibility they may have travelled to Edinburgh.

Sergeant Calum Connelly said: “A number of resources are being used to locate Stuart and Ben.

“Given their age, it’s imperative we locate them to ensure they are safe and well.

“If anyone has seen the boys or has any information about where they may be, please get in touch with us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0149 of March 12.
