AN EXHIBITION looking at a major milestone in the history of a primary school is being planned.

A small team of parents from Law Primary School are on the hunt for past pupils and staff.

This year marks the 50-year anniversary of the North Berwick school moving to its current site.

An exhibition is being planned for May and a spokesperson for the organisers called on people with a connection to the school to get involved.

They said: “To help celebrate this milestone, the parent team is working with current staff, students and the local community to create an exhibition exploring the school through the decades – and is trying to track down anyone who’s had a connection with the school over the years.

“If you went to or worked at Law Primary at any point over the past five decades, they’d love to hear your memories of the school, and discover what’s happened to you since leaving, whether you’ve travelled across the globe, stayed in North Berwick or ended up somewhere in between.

“The information gathered will be displayed in an open exhibition at the school in May.

“It’s part of a series of events planned for the anniversary year, which also include tree planting and the creation of a new mural, as well as a celebratory summer fair.”
