Owners and their dogs can enjoy a fundraising coffee morning at the Mercat Grill
THE Mercat Grill in Whitecraig is holding its first charity doggy event of the year this Saturday, in aid of Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home.
Its Doggy Barkfast will get under way at 11am and the cost of £7.50 includes a tea or coffee, hot filled roll and treat for the dog.
The dog-friendly venue will then run Doggy Barkfast on the first Saturday of every month: April 6, May 4, June 1, July 6, August 3, September 7, October 5 and November 2.
In December, the popular festive doggy event – Santa Paws – will take place, with the date and time to be confirmed nearer the time.
