IN THE first of our new feature, we turn back the Courier pages to see what was making headlines 25 and 50 years ago.
Hopefully, there are plenty of familiar faces in some of the photographs we have for you this week.
In future weeks, we will also be looking at how buildings and streets have changed - from popular cinemas that have sadly closed their doors to shops from high streets across the county.
In the summer, we will also be turning the clock back to look at the different gala celebrations from towns and villages.
