The first photos of the 2024 Tranent Gala queen, consort and gala court have been shared as rehearsals continue for the big event.
Gala queen Niamh Ritchie and consort Riley-James Preston were pictured together for the first time earlier this month at East Lothian Co-operative Bowling Club.
A group picture also shows the full gala court together ahead of the big day.
Leonie Frame, Lila-Maisy Chismond, Aliyah Gillhooley, Isla O’Kane and Alexis Cairns are this year's maids.
Ellis Cruickshank, Frankie Bell, Kayden Jamieson and Jackson McKillop will be heralds.
Nylah Huntley, Millie Renton, Darci Cochrane, Hope Oyenuga, Anna Whitecross and Carla Fairgrieve were picked as flower girls, while Jacob Johnston, Fletcher Grant, Brady Drysburgh, Lochie Scott, Rudi Armstrong and Jake Cairns will be page boys.
The gala fairies were announced as Ava-Rose Nairn, Carmen Kirkwood, Millie Waters, Rory Eve Sowerby, Leia-Marie Hogarth and Aiyla Whitson.
A spokesperson for the gala committee said: “The Tranent Children's Gala Committee would like to thank everyone who came along for official photos. The children all looked fabulous.”
Tranent Gala Day usually takes place on the first week in June, but no official date has been confirmed yet.
