STREET food could soon be on the menu at a trio of county car parks.

East Lothian Council is advertising the catering pitches in Musselburgh, Longniddry and near West Barns.

Offers in the region of £1,600 plus VAT per annum are invited for the site at Inveresk Mills Industrial Estate.

Meanwhile, offers of rent over £1,500 per annum are invited at the two coastal sites.

Describing the site in Musselburgh, the local authority said it was “located on a prominent site within the long-established Inveresk Mills Industrial Estate and adjacent to the River Esk walkway popular with dog walkers and joggers. Inveresk Mills Industrial Estate has a number of large employers, including Zot Engineering, Musselburgh Wagon and DTP Southfield”.
