AN MOT which allegedly expired more than a year ago has led to a driver being stopped in Tranent.
Roads police officers took to social media on Saturday to highlight that they had stopped a Citroen C1 in the town.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The vehicle MOT had expired in November 2022 and the driver was found to be uninsured.
“The driver will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal for both offences and the vehicle was seized.”
