A HADDINGTON man caused a disturbance on board a bus by refusing to leave the vehicle when requested to do so by the driver.
Paul McEwan, 49, entered the vehicle without permission and began shouting, swearing and uttering offensive remarks at High Street, Musselburgh, on March 7 last year.
Police were alerted to the incident and McEwan, of Riverside Drive, was arrested and charged.
McEwan appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last week, where he pleaded guilty to the offence.
He also had a not guilty plea accepted to a charge of standing in front of a bus and shouting, swearing, gesticulating and preventing the vehicle from moving at High Street, Haddington, on February 24 last year.
Sheriff Martin Edington sentenced McEwan to pay a fine of £290.
