A MUSSELBURGH man has been told he must pay a fine after he admitted to an assault.
Christopher Agnew assaulted a woman by pushing her on the body, causing her to fall to her injury, at an address in Edinburgh on November 18 last year.
Agnew, 39, had pleaded guilty during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on January 10.
Sentence had been deferred for reports and Agnew, of Victoria Terrace, returned for sentencing last week.
Sheriff Gillian Sharp issued him with a fine of £690.
