A former Ross High Rugby Club captain, he played for TPV alongside stepdad Scott Russell.
The bat will be retired going into the 2024 season and awarded to the batter scoring the most league runs this season.
An inscription on the bat now reads: “In memorial of Aiden Hoenigmann ‘Batter of the Year’.”
Mr Russell, secretary of TPV, said: “It was a club decision to retire the bat. Aiden was a batsman and a club captain. He was a huge part of the club and we are hoping to run a few tributes in his memory.
“We’re setting up a friendly with his old club Holy Cross pre-season and will now retire the bat.
"It means a lot to me and his family these tributes.”
