PRESTONGRANGE and its influence on various industries will be the topic of a local history talk at Port Seton Bowling Club tomorrow (Tuesday).
Debbie Chalmers and Dr Hanita Ritchie, from East Lothian Council’s John Gray Centre, will discuss how Prestongrange became the driving force behind local booming industries, including brick, tile and pottery manufacture, glass making, salt production, soap making and brewing.
The talk, which costs £2, is from 7pm.
Booking is not required – all those interested can turn up on the night.
