THE body of a woman has been recovered from the sea off the coast of Gullane.
Police were called out to the village at about 11am this morning (Wednesday).
A formal identification has now taken place and the woman has been identified as 50-year-old Alison Campbell, who was reported missing from Edinburgh yesterday (Tuesday).
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
