AN APPEAL has been launched for volunteers to help out at a village day centre.
Up to 16 people are able to attend Primrose Day Centre in Ormiston on a daily basis.
The well-loved facility has received positive remarks from the Care Inspectorate.
A spokesperson for the day centre said: “We are seeking volunteers who enjoy being with older people, helping them to have an enjoyable day alongside our friendly and experienced staff team, providing a warm welcome, chatting, getting coffee and serving lunch as well as being part of the afternoon activities like handicrafts, games, jigsaws and bingo.
“Regular entertainment is arranged.”
