A YOUNG people’s mental wellbeing event will be held at North Berwick High School tomorrow (Friday).

It is the second year that the event, organised by social enterprise Herbspace, has been run and will gather together health services and support organisations for young people.

Parents, carers, young people and those who work with young people, can drop in and talk directly with mental health providers such as Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and mental health youth workers, as well as those offering early intervention support and activities that support mental wellbeing.

Organisations attending include CAMHS, MYPAS, Young Scot and North Berwick Youth Project.

Many local groups and projects that run activities, clubs and volunteering opportunities for young people, including East Lothian Council Community Sports, Venturing Out, Muirfield Riding Therapy and North Berwick in Bloom, will also be in attendance.

The event runs from 9am to 12.15pm for school groups and from 12.30pm to 3pm for members of the public.
