A MUSSELBURGH man has appeared in court to admit attacking a man with a baseball bat.
Ricky Hall assaulted Damien Bennett by repeatedly striking him on the head and body with a baseball bat, or similar implement, all to his severe injury in October 2021.
The 32-year-old, of Macbeth Moir Road, pleaded guilty to the offence during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Tuesday.
Sheriff Alistair Noble released Hall on bail and deferred sentence to March 5.
