VOLUNTEERS from the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) in East Lothian enjoyed a festive get-together.
They gathered at the RVS cafe at the East Lothian Community Hospital in Haddington for tea, coffee and home-baked cakes.
Tom Pearson, service manager for the RVS East Lothian transport team, said the volunteers from the transport service and the cafe did “amazing work”.
He added: “It was great for everyone to have an opportunity to say thanks to the volunteers in person and for everyone to have a chance to have a catch-up.
“It was particularly nice for our volunteers who have joined in 2023 to have an opportunity to meet other volunteers.
“It was a lovely event.”
