A MUSSELBURGH man has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after pleading guilty to two charges.
Robbie Finlayson, of Mansfield Place, struggled violently with two police officers and attempted to evade arrest after he had been apprehended at Newbigging on Boxing Day 2022.
Finlayson also assaulted a woman by seizing her and pulling her hair at Market Street in Edinburgh on January 7 last year.
The 25-year-old pleaded guilty to both charges during an appearance at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Tuesday.
Sheriff Julius Komorowski issued a community payback order which will see Finlayson having to complete 106 hours of unpaid work.
