A MUSSELBURGH resident has been told he must pay a fine after he breached bail conditions by failing to attend his appointments.
Gordon Leadbetter, 41, was granted bail at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on July 14 last year with the condition he attend supervised appointments with his bail officer.
But Leadbetter subsequently failed to comply by failing to show up for two planned meetings with the officer on July 17 and 24 at the town’s Brunton Hall.
Leadbetter was back in the dock at the Capital court last Monday, where he pleaded guilty to the two charges in front of Sheriff John Cook.
Leadbetter, of Stoneybank Place, was ordered to pay a total fine of £290 to mark the offences.
