COMMUNITY councillors were approached about advertising “adult sites” through their website.
Morgwn Davies, secretary of Haddington and District Community Council, revealed that they had been contacted by email.
The spam email was asking the group if it would be prepared to advertise “adult sites” in return for payment.
Members agreed it was not something they were interested in doing.
