A 35-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged with six offences following reports of a suspicious male allegedly trying car doors in the Cockenzie area on January 2 and 7.
Enquiries were made by East Lothian Community Action Team and a man was arrested, cautioned and charged with six offences yesterday.
The man will appear in court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Several reports were received regarding a suspicious male trying car doors in Cockenzie area on January 2 and 7, 2024.
"Enquiries were made by East Lothian Community Action Team and, on January 17, a 35-year-old male was arrested, cautioned and charged with six offences."
