A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of alleged housebreakings and car thefts in East Lothian.
The alleged incidents took place on Beveridge Links, Dunbar; Knowesley Park, Haddington; Meetinghouse Drive, Tranent; and Stoneyhill Avenue, Musselburgh, between November 16 and November 19 last year.
The man was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court later today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of housebreakings and car thefts in East Lothian.
“A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, January 18.”
