SIXTY people enjoyed festive fun at the Pennypit Community Development Trust's 'Befriending' Christmas party at the Ravelston House Hotel in Musselburgh.
They were served a full festive dinner, including turkey with all the trimmings, followed by trifle for dessert, free-of-charge courtesy of hosts, the Ravelston.
The event was held in the hotel's function suite.
Those who attended included Pennypit's Time for Tea and Walking Football groups as well as Lunch with the Bunch which connects older people in the community through food.
The Prestonpans-based trust runs a Befriending project which provides groups for the over 60s in the community.
