AN APPEAL has been launched to help trace a missing 15-year-old boy from Tranent.
Police Scotland is seeking assistance from the public in tracing Stuart Munro, 15, who has been missing since December 30.
Stuart was last seen at about 7pm after being dropped off in the Portobello area intending to get a bus to Ratho.
Police say he is about 5ft 6in, medium build with short brown hair and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, jogging bottoms and trainers, and was also in possession of a black manbag.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers from Police Scotland are seeking assistance from the public in an effort to trace a 15-year-old boy missing from Tranent.
“Stuart Munro was last seen at about 7pm on Saturday, December 30, after being dropped off in the Portobello area, intending to get a bus to Ratho.
“He was due to be picked up about 11.30pm but did not arrive back and has since been reported missing.
“Stuart has associates in the Prestonpans, Edinburgh and Arbroath areas.
“He is described as 5ft 6in, medium build, short brown hair, wearing black hoodie, jogging bottoms and trainers, and was also in possession of a black manbag.
“If you have any information regarding Stuart's whereabouts, please call 101 and quote incident number 0182 of December 31, 2023.”
