EMERGENCY services were called out to a fire on the A1 this afternoon (Wednesday).
Firefighters from Haddington and East Linton were called to a lorry about half a mile to the west of the Thistly Cross Roundabout at about 12.05pm.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the eastbound carriageway of the road had been closed.
It is understood the fire was coming from under the lorry and there were no casualties.
The road was reopened at about 1.40pm.
