HUNDREDS of people ventured to Belhaven Bay on New Year's Day to bring in 2024 in fine style.

Swimming costumes, t-shirts and trunks were the order of the day as people took a dip in the chilly water.

Money was raised on the day for Cancer Research UK, who will hold their third ever Relay for Life in Dunbar this summer.

A grand total, including gift aid, of more than £1,000 was raised on the day.
