AN 82-YEAR-OLD woman who was reported missing in Musselburgh yesterday (Wednesday) has been traced "safe and well".
Police had appealed to the public for help in trying to find Irene Lomas, who had last been seen near Fisherrow Harbour.
Inspector Laura Stevenson had said they were "growing concerned for Irene's welfare" and urged people to check in gardens in case she had sought shelter.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland this morning (Thursday) said: “Irene Lomas, who was reported missing from Musselburgh, has been traced safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeals."
