Speed checks on vehciles on Links Road, Port Seton, have been conducted by Police Scotland.

The checks come as part of an initiative to “monitor and enforce” speed limits in the area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Checks are scheduled to be conducted approximately once per week.

“This initiative aims to monitor and enforce speed limits in the area, ensuring the safety of both pedestrians and motorists.

“It reflects a proactive approach towards maintaining traffic regulations and promoting a secure environment for the community.

“Please make your local community council aware of any problem areas for consideration of a speed check.”
