A MAN has been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision on the A1 this morning (Monday).
Police are in attendance on the westbound section of the busy road, which is currently closed, near Thistly Cross Roundabout.
Traffic Scotland highlighted the incident at about 7.30am and provided an update an hour later.

According to social media: "The #A1 Northbound at Thistly Cross remains CLOSED due to a two vehicle collision.
"Police are in attendance and directing traffic.
"Traffic is beginning to build on approach."
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7.20am on Monday, police were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A1 near Dunbar.
"One man was taken to hospital for treatment and recovery has been arranged.”
