THE search is on to find a new partner for a popular Haddington pub.

Belhaven Pub Partners dismissed the idea that the Railway Hotel, on the town’s Court Street, was set to close and confirmed it was already looking for someone new to take it on.

A spokesperson for Belhaven Pub Partners said: “We are sad to see our current partner at The Railway leave due to personal circumstances and wish them the very best of luck for the future.

"We have no intention of closing The Railway and are in active conversations to find a new partner for it and hope to share an update in the new year.”
