GRASSROOTS football in East Lothian will feature on the popular television programme A View From The Terrace tonight (Friday).
Television cameras were at Meadowmill earlier this month when youngsters were taking part in a fun fours festival.
Martin Brown, chairman of East Lothian Youth Development Football Association, was looking forward to seeing the programme.
He said: “They came up with an idea of covering real, grassroots football, the beginning of football.
“It is where they get the first taste of playing ‘competitive’ football.
“It is the 2016 age group and it is four-a-side with no goalkeeper. Nobody keeps score and it is just meant to be fun and enjoyable.”
Youngsters from Pencaitland YFC, Dunbar United Colts, Longniddry Villa and North Berwick were all taking part. Coaches from different clubs were interviewed, as well as young footballers.
A View From The Terrace, which is co-presented by former Courier reporter Joel Sked, can be viewed on BBC Scotland at 11pm.
