AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a sinkhole appeared in Dunbar.
A team from Scottish Water is investigating the hole, which is off the town’s Pine Street.
Barriers have been put around the hole, which measures about three-foot across and six-foot deep, by East Lothian Council.
A spokesperson for Scottish Water confirmed that work was under way to determine the cause.

Earlier today (Friday), they said: “Following further investigations, our sewer response team have identified the cause of the sink hole as being on a culverted water course, which is maintained by East Lothian Council.
"This has been passed over to them to investigate.”
