A POLICE dog has sniffed out two men who were arrested for alleged drug offences in Musselburgh.
Police Scotland highlighted the incident, which took place on Thursday, on social media.
They said that Police Dog Oakley spotted two men “acting suss” in the town.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Two men, both aged 21, were arrested for alleged drugs offences after being stopped by police, including PD Oakley, on North High Street near to Gracefield Court, Musselburgh, around 7.40pm on Thursday, November 9.
“One of the men was issued with a recorded police warning and the other man was released.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
