POLICE are taking no further action following an allegation that an animal rights protestor was struck by a car exiting Charles River Laboratories, Elphinstone.
Animal rights protestors were outside the research facility on the evening of October 31 was it was claimed that one of the group was injured.
A photo of the alleged incident was posted on social media.
A police investigation has now concluded.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "An investigation, including a review of video footage, was carried out with no criminality established. Enquiries are now complete."
