CHARITIES and good causes will be represented by schoolchildren in a bid to secure £3,000 of funding.
Knox Academy’s Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) sees pupils learning about different good causes before making presentations to their peers.
The school final is due to take place tomorrow (Wednesday).
Robert Flood, curriculum leader – social subjects, highlighted the upcoming event to Haddington and District Community Council.
He said: “I would be delighted if anyone from the community council was able to come along.”
Previous winners include The Wave Project Scotland, The Thistle Foundation and New Horizons.
