A MOTORIST was stopped allegedly driving at 115mph on the A1 yesterday (Monday).
Dalkeith Roads Police stopped a vehicle that was heading east on the busy road between Haddington and East Linton.
Police took to social media to highlight the incident.
Yesterday afternoon #DalkeithRP stopped a motorist who was driving at excessive speed on the A1 southbound between East Linton and Haddington. Detected at 115mph in a 70mph zone. Driver will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal. pic.twitter.com/iPVPhkd1PS

They said: “Yesterday afternoon #DalkeithRP stopped a motorist who was driving at excessive speed on the A1 southbound between East Linton and Haddington.
“Detected at 115mph in a 70mph zone.
“Driver will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.”
