Officers attended the property on Craig Avenue
A 52-year-old woman has died suddenly at a property in Haddington yesterday morning.
Police Scotland confirmed that they attended the home on Craig Avenue in the town at about 4am on Wednesday morning.
The death is being described as "unexplained" and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.55am on Wednesday, 27 September, 2023, we were made aware of the sudden death of a 52-year-old woman at a property in Craig Avenue, Haddington.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
"Next of kin have been informed. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
