A SPECTACULAR fireworks display is promised above Gosford House on November 5.

The home of the Earl of Wemyss is hosting part of a nationwide fireworks festival this autumn.

Billed as a unique way to experience Hallowe’en and Guy Fawkes Night all in one, Fawkes Festival’s Family Fireworks Spectacular takes place at four locations across Scotland.

Gosford House, near Longniddry, will feature a ‘movie magic’ extravaganza with fireworks, music, lights, sky trackers and lasers, plus a DJ, fire pits, marshmallows, hot chocolate and performers.

Other events are planned for Dalkeith Country Park; Dean Castle Country Park, near Kilmarnock; and Hopetoun House, near South Queensferry.

The event has been designed and produced by GC Live and will be delivered by 21CC.

Geoff Crow, director of 21CC Group, said: “This is going to be Scotland’s biggest and best Guy Fawkes festival.

“Since the pandemic, there have been virtually no big shows like this around the country but we’re bringing Guy Fawkes back with a bang!”
