A COUNTY beach has been named among the best rated dog-friendly beaches in Britain.
Seacliff, near North Berwick, was ranked seventh in a study carried out by bath retailers Shower to You.
The survey analysed Google ratings and reviews for 148 beaches with no dog restrictions to find the best beaches for man and his best friend.
Seacliff was the only one in Scotland to crack the top 10 – with a rating of 7.99 out of 10.
Top spot went to Durdle Door, in Dorset, with Man O’War Beach, also in Dorset, and Three Cliffs Bay, in Glamorgan, rounding out the top three.
