A county man has appeared in court in connection with alleged sexual offences against children.
Daniel Schlegel, 47, appeared in the dock during a private petition hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.
Schlegel faced two allegations of communicating indecently with an older child under Section 34 (1) of the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2009.
The accused man, whose address was only given as Musselburgh, made no plea to the two charges and he was released on bail.
The case was continued for further examination.
