Tranent have announced the loan signing of St Johnstone forward Jackson Mylchreest until the end of the season.
The 16-year-old striker has already made his competitive debut for the Scottish Premiership side in the Scottish League Cup this season.
Mylchreest scored his first goal for the club in a friendly against East Fife in pre-season.
Tranent announced the signing on social media saying: “We are delighted to announce the signing of 16-year-old Jackson Myclchreest on a season-long loan from St Johnstone. Jackson is an excellent addition to the squad.

St Johnstone wrote on Facebook: “We wish Jackson all the best for the coming season and look forward to seeing how he progresses.”
