Fringe by the Sea got off to a memorable start as some top acts took to the stage over the weekend.

On Friday, Groove Armada delivered a memorable DJ set while Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band were a tour de force on the Lodge Stage.

Scottish rock legends Travis were the highlight on Saturday, playing classics such as Sing and Flowers in the Window before closing their set with mega hit Why Does it Always Rain on Me? to an electric crowd.

Sunday saw comedy take centre stage as Irishman Dylan Moran brought his surreal style to the Big Top in what proved to be a laugh-packed evening.

The music continued on Monday as Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham took to the Big Top to bring their eclectic mix of quick-witted humour and beautiful traditional Scottish music.

But the festival continues in earnest as a wide variety of acts get ready to entertain North Berwick's Lodge Grounds.

Tonight (Tuesday), The Gospel Choir, North Berwick will deliver a soulful and powerful performance with songs that will make you want to clap, dance and sing.

They are supported by Sister Sister Choir who will sing a selection of songs of female inspired anthems of empowerment.

Elkie Brooks stars on Wednesday at the Big Top while cycling legend Mark Beaumont and local Karen Campbell also take to the stage.

Thursday sees zoologist and wildlife TV star Megan McCubbin give a talk on endangered species before comedy legend Dara O Briain brings the laugh on the Big Top.

Monski Mouse and Bemz perform on Friday before 70s R&B and disco powerhouse Sister Sledge deliver their classics on the Big Top.

Saturday sees Giles and Mary from Gogglebox give a talk before Bombskare light up the Big Top with their Scottish death reggae.

Peat & Diesel then close out evening with their Celtic punk and traditional sounds on the Big Top.

The festival closes out in style on Sunday as Britain's Got Talent winner Viggo Venn brings his surreal comedy to the Lodge Stage and the spellbinding music from Harry Potter ends the celebrations at the Big Top.
