The Pennypit Trust has received a funding boost
PRESTONPANS Community Council has agreed to award £1,000 to two local causes this summer.
Members agreed to give £500 each to the Preston Lodge Learning Foundation and the Pennypit Trust to help provide food for disadvantaged children.
The organisations had been looking for the funding to help support their term-time breakfast club and summer lunch clubs respectively.
The group voted unanimously to support both causes.
