The suitcase was found abandoned in Wallyford
There was relief after an abandoned suitcase in Wallyford was found to just be missing luggage.
There were growing concerns after the suitcase was found abandoned in the Wallace Crescent area of Wallyford by a concerned resident today at about 9.30am.
The resident shared an image of the suitcase on a local community Facebook page and there were concerns the suitcase could be dangerous.
Police were contacted and following an investigation, it was found that the suitcase was missing luggage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “It [the suitcase] was just lost property. The owner has been contacted to collect it.”
