The Red Arrows are set to fly over the county as they make their way to Edinburgh to take part in King Charles III's Scottish coronation.

The planes are set to take part in a spectacular air show later this afternoon as part of the coronation celebrations, but will pass by the county on their way to the Captial.

On route from RAF Waddington, they will pass by the east coast of county before turning towards Edinburgh and passing over North Berwick.

The planes a scheduled to be off the coast of Eyemouth at 12.50pm, before heading over to North Berwick at about 12.53pm this afternoon.

They will then head to Edinburgh Airport where they will station until taking part in the coronation display.

King Charles is coming to the Scottish capital to be presented with the Honours of Scotland in a tradition dating back to the early 19th Century.

Charles's arrival will be marked with a flyover by the Red Arrows with a number of other events set to take place on the day.

The Red Arrows are to fly over Edinburgh in the direction of Edinburgh Castle towards the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The flypast is scheduled to take place on at around 3.40 pm. The service in the cathedral will end at 3:15 pm.
